Hays County Food Bank
Central Texas Food Bank
Central Texas Food Bank is looking for volunteers. Food Bank volunteers are not subject to “Shelter In Place” orders and the Food Bank is exempt from orders restricting the size of community gatherings, because they are providing essential servicess. Central Texas Food Bank has adjusted volunteer shifts to include fewer people to maximize social distancing and is taking even more sanitary precautions than usual to minimize risks. If you’re healthy and not in a high-risk group, you are welcome to sign up to volunteer by following the link here.
Hospitals & Healthcare Providers
Many blood banks across Texas are running low on blood supplies, and blood drives across the nation have been cancelled. If you are able and interested in helping, visit the We Are Blood website.
The State of Texas is seeking critical equipment and capacity for medical providers, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), alternate care sites, and infection-control products.
